I don't want to trample anyone's ego or hardwork, but I think all the condescendingly friendly faux-conversation in this article (and all articles) should be removed. It adds nothing to the actual content, and quickly becomes annoying. 60.240.122.215 01:42, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

I am not a fan of that style of writing, but it does not offend me. Why do you characterise it as "condescending"? Eddie 03:21, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
This is my particular style of writing technical articles (see www.dummzeuch.de for more of them). I am a firm believer that technical articles should try to be entertaining as well as informative, otherwise people get tired reading them (we already have got too much boring stuff to read). Of course you are free to disagree, but don't expect me to change my style. If it is not welcome on the Delphi wiki, just tell me. I am not offended, I will just stop writing articles for the wiki but put them on my home page instead. (Not that I have written much lately.) --Dummzeuch 06:12, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
One critic is not a consensus. Write articles as you see fit. It's more than the OP has done. Eddie 00:27, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Dummzeuch don't feel discouraged.. I have used your articles(thanks). The style of writing was fine to me. I don't really like a writing style that's too formal. Hope to see many more articles published from you here. Xsintill 07:58, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

I reverted the last major edits. They seem to be genuine but we stick to english in this wikia and the poster used portuguese if I am correct. Check this page which also points out to use english Xsintill 08:34, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
